How streaks and badges work
An assessment is overdue after more than seven calendar days from submission. The streak uses calendar days, including weekends. A report showing overdue marking resets the current streak.
Personal bests and earned badges are retained. Equal streaks share a rank. The team streak is tracked separately from the individual challenge.
30 and 50 Days as a Team: everyone earns the corresponding team badge when the education team reaches 30 or 50 consecutive calendar days with no overdue marking. These are shared marking achievements, separate from individual streaks. Earned team badges are kept after a streak resets. At the current reported team streak of 23 days, both are locked.
Big Dog: earned by a coordinator who marks at least 25 programming assessments in one calendar day, using Australia/Brisbane time. Count any combination of EPT Task 2 (E-Task 2), BCT Task 2, TAC Task 4 and TOC Task 1 towards the combined total of 25. Other tasks do not count. Once earned, the medal stays in their collection.
EPT Power 10: earned by a coordinator who marks at least 10 EPT E-Task 2 assessments in one calendar day, using Australia/Brisbane time. Only EPT E-Task 2 assessments count towards this badge. Once earned, it stays in their collection.
50 in a Day: earned by a coordinator who marks at least 50 assessments in one calendar day, using Australia/Brisbane time. This is a marking-volume award, separate from streak length. Once earned, the badge stays in their collection.
3-Day Turnaround: reviewed at the end of each Monday–Friday week. Every assigned assessment whose three-business-day deadline falls in that week must have been marked by its deadline. Saturday and Sunday are excluded. At least one assessment must qualify; a week with no qualifying assessments does not earn the badge. Once earned, it stays in the coordinator’s collection.
This page is read-only. Streaks update from verified daily dashboard reports while the host computer is online. Daily-volume and turnaround medals await report validation. Missing reports do not advance a streak.
